The two-day independent assessment praised Oak’s dedication to business improvement and excellence, commending “the very high degree of ‘Quality Culture’ throughout” and noting “clear examples of implementing improvement strategies particularly to the design of new products and HR”.
Oak Joint CEO Phil Reynolds is delighted with the news, believing that ISO accreditation is key to building customer confidence in Oak:
“With so much choice and competition out there, customers want to feel they are dealing with a company they can trust to deliver the products and services they need, when they need them. ISO accreditation helps give them that assurance. It reflects and rewards the dedication of our excellent team, and proves that we are continuing to perform at the top of our game.”
ISO 9001 is the most widely used and recognised Quality Management Standard (QMS) in the world, certifying 1.1million businesses in 187 countries. Its common sense approach to customer-focused management means that, in short, it provides the basis for effective processes and effective people to deliver effective products and services time after time.
“The 100% rating has come at the perfect time for us,” continues Reynolds. “As we forge ahead into fresh markets with new product launches this year, ISO accreditation is a way of letting the world know, in big, bold, letters, that we have put the time and resources in, and are well placed to deliver the robust, leading-edge products that they are looking for.”
