OAK Acquires Adaptive Suite from New Media Software Ltd

Oak has this month announced the acquisition of the Adaptive business from New Media Software Ltd. (NMS). Oak has been in negotiations with NMS since Adaptive was put on the market in December, finalising the purchase earlier this week.

Significantly for Oak, the Adaptive suite includes Progressive and Predictive Diallers together with a Media Blending Platform. Oak joint-CEO Phil Reynolds believes these will make a perfect and complementary addition to the company’s expanding product portfolio in 2016.

"At Oak we've been building our new high end call recorder and call centre reporting platform, OCP3, ready for a 2016 release. The acquisition of Adaptive couldn't have come at a more opportune time, as we can now include advanced dialling and media blending options in the OCP release.”

Phill McGowan, Managing Director at NMS, is continuing to work within the telecoms industry as a business consultant, and is delighted to be leaving both the products and his team in safe hands.

All Adaptive staff have taken up employment with Oak thus allowing support and development to continue uninterrupted of the Adaptive Suite.

James Emm, Joint CEO at Oak, is putting plans together for a national reseller roadshow of the Adaptive Suite.
